What is sin?

Before she employs the word sin, the Bible told the story of its introduction into the world (Genesis 3:1-13). She borrows a path that goes from concrete fact to his theory, and not vice versa. Based on the true story, it establishes doctrine. Sin has crept into the world by using the question: "Did God really say? "(Gen 3:1). Sin thus reflects an attitude opposed to the will of God. The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17) and the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7) are excellent mirrors that reveal our tendency to sin. He who does not know the Word of God does not know what his will he therefore saw a chronic and permanent in sin. The first mention of the word "sin" (Hebrew chattah) expresses the idea of a miss (Gen 4:7). This is also the meaning of the Greek word "hamartia". The word "sin" has also the following meanings: standard, deformation (Awon), malice, meanness (raa), violence (CHAM), bad feelings (Rasch). The failure of justice is already sin: "Woe to you, Joaquim; make yourself a palace built without respecting the justice "(Jer 22:13). The New Testament gives the following definition of sin: "Any act that does not come from faith is sin" (Romans 14:23). For H. Bezzel, sin is everything to oneself. In John 16:9, Jesus identified the sin of man in general the absence of any personal relationship with him: "... because they do not believe in me. "The Sin is the great disturbance in the relationship between God and man. Whoever does not correct the error path, through repentance and forgiveness (1 Jn 1:9), that one will know the tragic end of this error: "The wages of sin is death (eternal ) "(Rom 6:23). Many of our fellow put health at the forefront of their concerns: it would be commendable if they saw sin as the most dreaded disease, which inevitably leads to death.
