Matthew 24, 37-44.
Jesus said to his disciples of his coming: "The coming of the Son of man will resemble what happened in the days of Noah. At that time, before the flood, we ate, they drank, they married until the day Noah entered the ark. People do have suspected nothing until the flood which swept all away as will also the coming of the Son of man. Two men in the fields: one is taken, the other left. Two women at the mill: one is taken, the other left.
"Watch therefore: for ye know not the day your Lord will come. You know: if the householder had known at what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and would not penetrate the left wall of his house. Stay ready so you, too: it is the hour when ye think not the Son of man cometh. "
Meditation
